Charles Akers

Charles E. Akers, 75, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019, at North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born August 28, 1943 to the late Kurt Akers and the late Josephine Pope Akers in Alabama. He enjoyed working on old cars, working outside and spending time with family and friends.

Services will be at 2:00 pm on Monday May 13, 2019 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Bryant, and Bro. Jim Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Monday May 13, 2019 at Senter Funeral Home.

Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

He is survived by his Wife, Myra Akers of Tremont, Son, Jimmy (Fiancé Tracy Lindsey) Akers of Tremont, Brothers, Willard (Mozelle) Akers, Johnny Akers, Rubin Akers all of Bexar, AL, Granddaughter, Tiffany (Gabe) Holder of Fulton, great granddaughters, Macy and Ava Holder, several nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Granddaughter, Ashley Akers, Brother, Rayburn Akers, and a infant Sister.

Pallbearers will be Ray Harbor, Randy Harbor, Chris Harbor, Keith Nichols, Jimmy Birmingham, and David Palmer.
