Danny Owens

Danny E. Owens, 59, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019, at Glendale Community Home in Fulton. He was born December 20, 1959 to the late Maylon E. Owens and Lois Thornton Owens. He was a member of Verona Baptist Church. Danny enjoyed horses, cows, going to church, and participating in the Special Olympics. He loved his family at the Glendale Community Home. Danny proudly served as an honorary member of the Verona Police Department.

Services will be 2:00 pm on Sunday March 17, 2019 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. David Hamilton, and Bro. Randy Wood officiating. Burial will be in Sandy Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Saturday March 16, 2019 at Senter Funeral Home.

Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

He is survived by his Mother, Lois Owens of Belden, Sisters, Sandra (Joe) Fondren of Abbyville, MS, Rebecca Owens (Nick) DeClement of Belden, Tina (Mike) Correro of Bards Town, KY, Niece, Dawn (Richie) Yeoman of Belden, Nephew, Jeremy (Audi) Wilson of Tupelo, Niece, Rachel Meghan Kennedy of Mooreville, Niece, Madison (Brian) Osbourne of Bardstown, KY, Niece, Bailee (Jon) Pope of Louisville, KY, 7 great nieces and nephews, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Pallbearers will be Nick DeClement, Joe Fondren, Richie Yeoman, Mike Correro, Jeremy Wilson, and Coby Wilson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Osbourne and John Pope.
