Danny Waddle

Danny Noel Waddle, 71, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born November 23, 1947 to the late George Freeman and the late Alsie Mae Johnson Waddle in Itawamba County. He was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Music brought Dan much joy. His love for making music led to the creation of many friendships that lasted throughout his life. He spent many weekends playing guitar in local dance halls making music that will be talked about for generations. Dan also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved his grandchildren with all of his heart.

Services will be at 11:00 am on Friday March 29, 2019 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Lloyd Minor officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday March 28, 2019 at Senter Funeral Home.

Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

He is survived by his Daughter, Traci (Will) South of Fulton, Grandchildren, JD (Brook) Gray of Ft. Riley, KS, Logan (Montana Rogers) South, Jacob South, Elijah South, and Micah South all of Fulton, Brother, Doug Waddle of Fulton, Sisters, Gail (Charles) Palmer of Mantachie, Judy McCracken of Fulton, Marilyn Collier of Fulton, Peggy (Kevin) Stanford of Saltillo, JoAnn Stanford of Fulton, several nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Jack Owens.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

His nephews will serve as pallbearers.
