Gola Senter

Gola Senter, 92, passed away Monday, February 11, 2019, at The Meadows in Fulton. She was born August 14, 1926 to the late Richard Talmage Blalock and the late Ellie Opal Orear Blalock. She was a past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star. She was charter member of the Fulton Edelweiss Garden Club. She was a retired book keeper for many years at a manufacturing company and also a branch manager for a savings and loan company. She was a Sunday School teacher for many years and was a member of Fulton United Methodist Church where she served on the Hostess Committee. She loved to travel so well that her granddaughter named her Gogo. Left to cherish her memories are Bobby and Irene Bennett, Barbara Rushing, Jeanne Watkins, Doris Gann, Cathy Smith, Vicki Benson Dennin, and her friends at the Charleston Place. A special thanks to the compassionate care of the staff at Charleston Place and The Meadows. Services will be 1:00 pm on Wednesday February 13, 2019 at Senter Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Box officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Wednesday. Burial will be in White Church Cemetery. Survivors include her daughters: Sherry (Jerry) Stubblefield of Fulton, Nancy (Dr. Don) Presley of Baldwyn, granddaughter, Alexandra Senter Presley of Los Angeles, CA, brother, Milford Ray Blalock of Booneville, and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Hillman Senter, and a special friend, Charlene Senter. Pallbearers are Bill Watkins, Bobby Bennett, Willie Rushing, Michael Blalock, Dr. Scott Bauer, Dr. Ronald Wheeler Memorials can be made to Fulton United Methodist Church.
