Helen Faye Graham

Helen Faye Graham, 84, passed from this earthly life, Tuesday, February 19, 2019. She was born July 29, 1934 to the late Sumpter Thomas Barnes and Lula Mae Roberts Barnes. Firm in her faith, Helen was a member of the church of Christ and worshipped with the Southern Hills congregation in Fulton. Confident with a sewing machine, Helen was a lifelong seamstress having worked at Itawamba Manufacturing and retiring from Hickory Hill Furniture. She selflessly gave of herself to any need her family had and was the definition of a strong, determined and dedicated woman. Some of our most cherished memories will be of the joy she had at the request to prepare a favorite meal of dumplins and banana pudding, her presence at any event any one of her grandchildren were participating in and how she was always willing to play a game with us; whether it be dominoes, cards or completing a jigsaw puzzle. Services will be at 2:00 pm on Friday February 22, 2019 at Senter Funeral Home with Minister Clyde Mize officiating. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday February 21, 2019 at Senter Funeral Home. Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Survivors include daughters, Lisa (Jeff) Wilburn of Fulton, and Myra (John) McAulay of Overland Park, KS, 6 grandchildren, Sara (Joe) Davis of Fulton, Michael (Gail) Graham of Tupelo, Brent (Shanna) Wilburn of Sumner, TX, Brandon (Kerri) Wilburn of Oxford, Ryan Welch of Overland Park, KS, Tyler Welch of Overland Park, KS, 7 great grandchildren, Michael Graham, Jr. of Tupelo, Helen Claire Davis of Fulton, Jason Graham, Jaxson Cobb, Holdan Cobb, Lila Wilburn, and Evan Wilburn, a sister, Margaret (George) Madison of Lynn Haven, FL, and a sister in law, Linda Scott Barnes of Florence, AL. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, JC Graham, eldest daughter, Kathy Elaine, 2 infant grandsons, Charles Crawford Welch, and Jesse Graham Welch, her parents, a sister, Mary Gray, and her brother, Garry Barnes. Her grandsons will be pallbearers. Online condolences can be expressed at
