Janie Calvert Clayton, 59, passed away Monday, December 3, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN. Janie was born February 2, 1959 to the late Joseph Franklin and Bessie Keller Calvert. She was a graduate of Hamilton High School and Itawamba Junior College where she earned her degree in nursing. She was a retired Radiation Oncology RN. Janie was a devoted member of Fulton Church of God of Prophecy where she was actively serving as Sunday School Director. She had many hobbies, including painting, drawing, photography, shopping, and traveling. Services will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday December 5, 2018 at the Fulton Church of God of Prophecy with Bro. Tim Winters, and Bro. Curtis Sutton officiating. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday December 3, 2018 at the Fulton Church of God of Prophecy. Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Janie is survived by her husband, Don Clayton of Fulton, daughter, Kayla Wallace of Fulton, 5 siblings, Neal (Ruby) Calvert, Ob (Lloyd) McKay, Tom Calvert, Betty (Thomas) Higgins, Billy Joe (Bobbie) Calvert, all of Hamilton, AL, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Mike Wallace, parents, Joseph and Bessie Calvert, 5 Siblings, Rosie Calvert, Jewel Dean Calvert, Robert Calvert, Jimmie Calvert, Charles Calvert.
