Jewel Cromeans

Jewel Keeton Cromeans, 84, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021, at her grandsons house. She was born April 4, 1936 to the late Oda Keeton and the late Norma Pounders Keeton. She was a member of Walker Missionary Baptist Church. She retired from Golden Manufacturing to take care of her great grandchildren. She loved spending time with grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jewel always took care of everyone in need although she couldn't drive, she would always say, "if you will come get me, I will stay awhile with you." She also enjoyed sewing for her family and friends. She was loved by everyone.

Services will be at 9:30 am on Saturday April 3, 2021 Walker Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Clay Weaver, and Bro. Hollis Boyd officiating. Burial will be in Old Mount Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm today, Friday, April 2, 2021 at Walker Missionary Baptist Church.

Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

She is survived by her son; Grayling (Sheila) Cromeans of Dennis, grandchildren; Matthew (Bobbie) Brown of Golden, Marie (Ricky) Johnson of Fulton, Timothy (Andrea) Brown of Golden, Bradley (Allyissa) Brown of Golden, Candace (Brock) Dunaway, of Booneville and Gavin (Tori) Cromeans of Dennis, great-grandchildren; Jacob (Grace) Dill, Tierra (Dylan) Hembree, Caleb Brown, Chandler Brown, Samuel Brown, Kaleigh (Logan) Harrison, Adlee Dunaway, Zander Dunaway, Carrington Cromeans, Matthias Cromeans, Silas Cromeans, Jeffrey (Job) Brown, and Andrew Brown, great, great-granddaughters; Livi Grace Dill, and Lainey Harrison, sisters; Marilyn (J.E.) Gassaway, Bonnie (Emzell) Ewing, Linda Tucker, Aleta June Keeton, and a host of many other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Dewey Junior Cromeans, her parents; Oda and Norma Keeton, daughter; Jenifer Brown, and son-in-law; Orbin Brown.

Her grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.

Her great and great, great-grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
