Jimmie Prestage

Jimmie Prestage, 87, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019, at NMMC Hospice. She was born December 15, 1931 to the late B.C. Senter and the late Tula Blaylock Senter.  She retired from  Itawamba Manufacturing after 34 years of service. She was a member of East Fulton Baptist Church. She was a devoted Christian and loved working in the yard and working in her little garden.Funeral services will be 2:00 pm on Sunday February 3, 2019 at East Fulton Baptist Church with Bro. Dewitt Bain and Bro. John Lewis officiating. She will lie in state from 1:00 till service time on Sunday at East Fulton Baptist Church. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 pm Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019 at Senter Funeral Home. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Gardens. Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.Survivors include her sons: Ken (Monica) Prestage and Marx (Sandy) Prestage; grandsons: Shawn (LeAnna) Prestage, Austin Prestage, and Hunter Prestage; granddaughter, Shelby Prestage Miller; great-grandsons: Caden and Deaton Prestage; great-granddaughters: Rayna Klaire Prestage and Maggie Miller; also a host of special nieces and nephews.Preceded in death by her parents, husband, L.C. Prestage, Jr., sisters: Clemmie Spradling and Nan Haynes.Pallbearers will be Shawn Prestage, Austin Prestage, Hunter Prestage, Malcom  Jones, Aubrey Jones, and Cole Haynes.
