Mary Ann Sutton

Mary Ann Sutton, 76, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at Sanctuary Hospice House. She was born January 30, 1943 to the late Quitman Roper and the late Fairy Bell Martin Roper. She was a long-time resident of Eggville and Fulton where she worked as an accomplished seamstress. God blessed Mary with many things and among those was a love for animals. She never met an animal that she did not like, and she rescued more animals than there is space to name. She also had a love for flowers and gardening. Few could rival the beauty and great tasting produce from her garden, which was shared with family and friends. She was a member of First United Pentecostal Church. She loved her church family and how beautifully they showed God's love. Services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, February 23, 2019, at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Burleson officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am Saturday. Burial will be in Corinth National Cemetery. Survivors include her daughter, Pat (David) Dykes of Madison, AL; son, Gary Sutton, granddaughters: Lisa (Robert) Aultman and Danielle Dykes; grandson, Dustin (Keenan) Dykes; sister, Shirley (G. W.) Dye; brother, Richard (Kerri) Roper; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Virgil Sutton, sisters: Nina Hardy and Donna Sue McIntosh. Pallbearers will be Richard Roper, G.W. Dye, Gary Wayne Dye, Reed Dye, Earl Price, Jimmy Mitchell. Online condolences can be expressed at www.senterfuneraldirectors.com
