Mitzi Shumpert Barnes, 52, passed away Friday, November 23, 2018, at her residence. She was born March 4, 1966 to the late Oliver Lee Shumpert and the late Virginia Harris Shumpert in Tupelo. She enjoyed shopping, horseback riding, and spending time with family and friends. Services will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday November 25, 2018 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Holsonback, and Bro. Jackie Gray officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Sunday November 25, 2018 at Senter Funeral Home. Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. She is survived by her Brother, James Shumpert, of Fulton, Niece, Jordan Benson of Fulton, Nephew, Lee Shumpert of Fulton, great nephew, Nathan Shumpert of Fulton, Uncle, Lonnie (Betty) Harris of Fulton, Andy Coker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Barnes, who passed away on November 21, 2018, her parents, and 2 Brothers, Randy and Jeff Shumpert. Pallbearers will be Andy Coker, Tiny Hughes, Doug Hester, Neal George, Pat Brown, and Mark Brown.
