Rickey Newell

Rickey D. Newell, 55, passed away Monday, April 15, 2019, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born August 18, 1963 to the late Johnny Newell and the late Betty Wilemon Thrasher in Itawamba County. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Rickey enjoyed watching TV, fishing, gardening, playing dominoes, and spending time with his family and friends.

Services will be at 11:00 am on Friday April 19, 2019 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Payne officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday April 19, 2019 at Senter Funeral Home.

Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

He is survived by his Aunt, Donna Newell of Mooreville, Niece, Victoria (Hunter) Grammer of Golden, 2 Nephews, John (Jessica) Newell of Fulton, Bryan Newell of Fulton, and a special cousin, Lynn Brooks of Mooreville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 Brothers, David Allen Newell, and John Wesley Newell.

Pallbearers will be John Newell, Bryan Newell, Zack Williams, Jamy Foster, Michael Brooks, and James McKinney.
