Ruvene Senter Adams

Ruvene Senter Adams, 83, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019, at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo. She was born March 25, 1936 to the late Lester Beard and the late Desta Gregory Beard in Fulton. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was a graduate of IAHS, IJC, Ole Miss School of Banking and LSU School of Banking and worked for Bank of Mississippi/BancorpSouth for 50 years where she had the honor of being the first female promoted to Bank President. Ruvene loved to travel and had been to all 50 states as well as Canada.

Services will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday May 29, 2019 at Bethel Baptist Church with Bro. Kevin Clayton officiating. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday May 28, 2019 at Senter Funeral Home and will continue from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday May 29 at Bethel Baptist Church.

Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

She is survived by her Husband, Charles Adams of Mantachie, Daughter in Law, Sheila Senter of Fulton, Grandson, T.J. (Lexi) Senter, Step Sons, Larry (Denise) Adams of Mantachie, Tommy (April) Adams of Mantachie, Step Daughters, Marily (Roger) Harrison of Mooreville, Misty Shell of Port Charlotte, FL, Brothers, Wayne Beard of Fulton, and Bill (Joan) Beard of Nevada City, CA, Step Grandchildren, Natasha (Kurt) Brown of Baldwyn, TJ (Becky) Adams of Tremont, Zach (Ashley) Adams of Mantachie, Bradley (Lindsay) Adams of Mantachie, Tyler Adams of Mantachie, Paten Stephens of Marietta, Reed (Hope) Stephens of Mantachie, Audrey Shell of Mantachie, Great Step Grandchild, Catelyn Brown, Caleb Brown, Finley Adams, Turner Adams, Ivy Stephens, and Liam Adams.

She was preceded in death by her first husband of 39 years, Etoil Senter, Son, Scotty Senter, her parents, and sister in law, Dot Beard.

Pallbearers will beTerry Beard, Brad Beard, Stacy Russell, Larry Pate, Gary Walker, and Mike Pate.
