Walala Underwood

Walala Wood Underwood, 88, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2019, at North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born December 16, 1930 to the late Ollis Wood and the late Cora Rogers Wood. She retired from Charm Step after 30 + of service and was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, playing softball, basketball and spending time with her family and friends.

Services will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday March 23, 2019 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Merrit, and Bro. Terry Paul Graham officiating. Burial will be in Kirkville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday March 22, 2019 at Senter Funeral Home.

Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

She is survived by her Sons, Wayne (Cathrine) Underwood of Iuka, Mike (Marsha) Underwood of Mantachie, Daughter, Sue Gann of Marietta, Grandchildren, Jeff (Gina) Underwood of Iuka, Jonathan Underwood of Mantachie, Ramona Gann of Marietta, Brandy (Brian) Belue of VA, Maranda (Heath) Ward of Marietta, Cassandra (Jonathan) Williams of Mantachie, Great-grandchildren, Allison Underwood, Annie Underwood, Willow Belue, Cami Christian, Parker Gann, Joshua Travis Williams, Logan Williams, Brother, Charles (Nell) Wood of Savannah, GA, Sister, Martha Wright of Fulton.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Hollis Underwood, her parents, Brothers, James Ray Wood, Lawrence Wood, L.C. Wood, and a Sister, Betra Butler, Brother, Lawrence Wood.

Pallbearers will be Steve Wood, Terry Wood, Chris Christian, Junior McMillen, Chris Wright, Lando Butler Jr.
