She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Ma Maw and Great-Grandmother and friend. Mrs. Doris retired from Blue Bell Mfg. after over 31 years of service. Following her retirement, She and Mr. J.C. traveled to the Smokey Mountains frequently. That was their favorite place to go. She loved the outdoors, especially working in her flower garden, and sitting on the patio with Mr. J.C. Beautiful flowers surrounded their house, as well as tons of hummingbirds. She dearly loved playing with her "Piper", her little yorkie.
