Lowell Ray Rogers, 82, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo . He was born May 13, 1936 to the late Gaither Rogers and the late Doska Shotts Rogers. He served in the U.S. Army as a military policeman. He worked for Itawamba Manufacturing Company and Tremont High School before becoming disabled due to a heart condition. As a faithful member of Mt. Olive United Methodist Church, he was dedicated in serving in the church. He loved gospel singing and antiques. Kailee and Konnor, his two grandchildren were a joy to him. Lowell and Judy were married 49 years..
Services will be 3:00 pm on Friday September 28, 2018 at Senter Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Don Simmons, Bro. Jimmy Lucas, and Bro. Josh Hopkins officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Olive Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 p m to 8:00 pm on Thursday September 27, 2018 at Senter Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Judy Rogers of Tremont, son, Shaun Lee (Dawn) Rogers of Tremont, grandchildren, Kailee Rogers and Konnor Rogers, both of Tremont, 2 Nieces, Ponda (Rodney) Pharr of Tremont, Nelda Smith of Hamlet, NC, 3 Nephews, Randy Rogers of Tremont, Roger (Becky) Wilson of Tremont, Steve (Polly) Wilson of Hamlet, NC, and sister in law, Murl Rogers of Tremont.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gaither and Doska Rogers, brother, Marvin Rogers, and a sister, Emogene Wilson.
Pallbearers will be Randy Rogers, Roger Wilson, Brandt Nichols, Larry Wilson, Mike Wilson, Alan Barnett.
Honorary pallbearers are Gayre Pounders, Cully Hartsell, Corky Barnett, Sonny Boyd, Greg Guth, Charles Clark, Kenneth Pounders.
